I am co-owner of BodyBalance of Seneca with my husband, Steve. This is Seneca’s only total body integration center. We offer all types of therapeutic massage and bodywork. This includes neuromuscular therapy, TMJ therapy, reflexology, myofascial release and medical massage. We offer couples massage as well as in-home massage. We offer Active Isolated Stretching. I am certified to offer nutrition counseling (I have completed all coursework for my Master’s in Holistic Nutrition) as well as private and semi-private instruction in yoga, mat pilates and other forms of personal training. Please visit our website at www.bodybalanceofseneca.com to learn more about our services and our backgrounds.

I am a graduate of the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Therapy and a board certified neuromuscular therapist. I have been teaching as a certified yoga instructor since 2002 and as a certified mat pilates instructor since 2003. I am an ACE certified personal trainer and NESTA certified group fitness instructor. I was employed as a leisure skills instructor at Clemson University from 2005 to 2010. In the spring of ’11 I trained the Clemson Women’s Soccer Team in mat pilates. Steve and I are now the only outside massage therapists utilized by the Clemson Athletic Department.

I am currently attending the Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine. I am studying the 2,000 hour program to become a board certified licensed acupuncturist. This program is geared to the working adult so I am only gone 50 hours a month for four years. This will NOT affect my pet sitting.

Outside of that, I am a Board Member of the South Carolina Wildlife Federation on the education committee. I am a habitat steward which means I help individuals, schools and organizations (public or private) create certified backyard/schoolyard/workplace habitats for the Federation. This is a great tool for all to become involved in the world literally right outside one’s own door.
